Product Description
The Rhaetian Railway is one of Switzerland's largest private railways, with a network of over 400 km of track. This product is a small locomotive modeled after the design of the Swiss Federal Railways’ Re4/4. Currently, it is the most numerous type of locomotive in service on the Rhaetian Railway. It is widely used on services such as the Glacier Express between Disentis and St. Moritz, the Bernina Express between Chur and St. Moritz, and freight trains.
Features
Modeled after the second-batch unit manufactured in 1984, with the Rhaetian Railway's distinct vivid red standard livery.
Features square headlights on the front and added jumper plugs. The front jumper plugs are provided as user-installable parts.
The side emblem and "Rhätische Bahn" logo are also accurately depicted.
Replicates the rounded design of the body and the large windows.
Roof details such as the air intake louver, resistors, and large snowplow are also reproduced in detail.
The motor allows the locomotive to haul up to 12 Rhaetian Railway passenger cars on a 4% grade.
