Featuring a lightweight stainless-steel body and diesel-electric power, it set new standards for speed and design. Famous for its record-breaking run between Denver and Chicago, the train became a symbol of innovation and renewal. This model recreates the original formation in a compact 3-car set, ideal for both operation and display!

Modelled after the original 3-car formation as it appeared when first introduced, preserved at the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago.
Accurately reproduces the distinctive corrugated (fluted) body and the unique texture of stainless steel.
Space provided inside the leading locomotive for installation of a DCC sound speaker.
Supplied in a 4-car bookcase-style package with a specially designed sleeve.
