Product Description
In 2018, as part of marketing initiatives promoting the adoption of environmentally-friendly systems across Europe, a new version of the ICE4 German high-speed train was introduced. The design was updated so that part of its traditional red stripe was changed to green to symbolize environmental sustainability. These green-striped trains were added to the fleet and currently operate alongside the standard red-striped versions in various destinations throughout Germany as well as offering a direct service to Switzerland.
Features
Based on train formation 9034. Features different car numbers from existing products.
Green stripe and logo on the front-end of the lead cars.
Blackened wheels to match the appearance of the actual train.
The motor car is included as one unit in both the Basic Set and the Add-on Set. To ensure smooth operation when combined, the motor car in the Add-on Set does not include traction tires.
A custom-length lighting plate is built in for interior lighting. Can be lit by combining with an interior light set (sold separately).
Accurate reproduction of signs, car numbers, and other markings placed throughout the body.
The bookcase-style storage box for the add-on sets is wider to accommodate the car length. The Basic Set cars can also be stored in Add-On Set A’s case.
