Product Description
The Alpine Glacier Express runs through the European Alps in southwestern Switzerland from Zermatt to St. Moritz over two railroad companies, the Rhaetian Railway and the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn. On a slow 8-hour journey, it has become popular as a panoramic sightseeing train to enjoy the stunning views of the Alps from its windows. In 2019, the “Excellence Class,” an even higher level of first class, was introduced, bringing further changes to the traditional passenger cars.

Includes the 647 locomotive.The design with the large Rhaetian Railway logo on the side has been replicated.
Specifications are identical to those of the <10-2026 GLACIER EXPRESS 3-Unit Basic Set>.
The 821mm x 347mm running UNITRACK track consists of the CV1 Endless Basic Set (radius R150), two additional S248 tracks and a level crossing track.
Comes with the “Power Pack SX (black)” with appropriate AC adapter included. Uses a globally compatible power supply (1.2A. output).
*DCC compatible by replacing the light circuit board with the <29-025 DN163K4a> (Hobby Center KATO product)
