The Thalys PBA is an international high-speed train that runs on one of Europe’s most iconic routes—connecting Paris, Brussels, and Amsterdam. Nicknamed the “Red Train”, Thalys is one of Europe’s flagship international services and began operations in 1996. As a cross-border train serving three countries and three major cities, it is equipped to handle three different power systems. When departing from Paris, it often operates in a 20-car formation, coupling two trainsets together. At Brussels, the train is split, with one portion continuing to the Netherlands and the other heading toward Germany. This model represents the current livery introduced in 2016, marking the train’s 20th anniversary. It features distinctive red doors and updated side window accents, offering enhanced visual distinction and a faithful recreation of the train’s real appearance.
